Remedial Massage
Remedial massage is the assessment and treatment of dysfunctions in muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissue that causes pain or restricts movement. The assessment part involves a comprehensive medical history, observations of posture, palpation, and range of motion testing.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue massage is used if you have general muscle tension in multiple areas of the body. It involved applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues.

Sports Massage
Sports massage is a specific treatment that prevents injuries and increases your athletic performance. Techniques in this treatment include stretching, taping, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and exercise.

Pregnancy Massage
In pregnancy massage, we have the patient side-lying if unable to lie on their stomach. Pregnancy or prenatal massage is used to reduce stress, reduce swelling in the arms and legs, relieve muscle and joint pain in pregnant women and reduce the baby’s stress hormone.

Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger point therapy is the palpation of taut bands, knots, or tender spots in the muscle. Sustained pressure is applied to the trigger point for 90 seconds, this triggers a response in the nervous system and the muscle relaxes and pain reduces.

Myofascial Release
Myofascial release is a hands-on technique that involves applying gentle and sustained pressure to the layers of connective tissue to decrease restrictions, eliminate pain and restore full range of motion.

Kinesio Taping
Kinesio tape can be used to prevent or treat common muscle and tendon-related injuries, including sprains, strains, subluxations, and tendinopathies. Kinesio tape provides support, lymph drainage, and pain relief and enhances recovery. Tape can be used during activity and recovery.

Dry Needling
Dry Needling is a technique that uses single-use thin, stainless that is inserted into a trigger point, taut band, or ‘knot’ of the muscle. The needle signals the nerve to stimulate a response to the brain which sends a message to relax the muscle and therefore reduce pain.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a specialized, gentle massage technique designed to encourage the natural drainage of lymph fluid, which carries waste products away from tissues back towards the heart.

Functional Release Cupping
Functional release cupping is a western of traditional cupping, instead of leaving the cups stationary we get the patient to stretch and contract the affected muscle with the cups on to improve range of motion.
